Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect through meletx.com, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the website only. Company data that customers upload to the MeletX platform (app.meletx.com) is handled under our customer agreements.
1. Who we are
The data controllers are Ceyda Topbaş and Başar Olgun, the founders of MeletX (“MeletX”, “we”).

We are based in Türkiye, so the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) applies to all personal data we process. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR or UK GDPR also applies to your data. Our full KVKK notice is available in Turkish at meletx.com/tr/kvkk.
2. What we collect

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
4. Cookies
meletx.com does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not track you across sites. Fonts are served from our own domain. That is why there is no cookie banner.

These providers may process data outside Türkiye and outside the EEA. Transfers are made under KVKK Article 9 and, for data covered by the GDPR, under appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Demo requests and related emails are kept for 2 years after our last contact, then deleted or anonymised. If we sign a contract, the related records are kept for as long as the law requires.
7. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you can ask whether we process your data, get information about it, learn who we share it with, have it corrected or deleted, object to an outcome produced solely by automated processing, and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
If the GDPR applies to you, you also have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

8. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with its date at the top.
